Ella’s Angels Foundation is honored to receive formal recognition at the municipal and state levels for measurable community impact. What began as a small toy drive has evolved into a structured youth-led organization serving families, veterans, and students across Southern California and beyond.
Certificate of Recognition – City of Long Beach (2025)
Presented by Mayor Rex Richardson, the City of Long Beach formally recognized Ella’s Angels Foundation for its Thanksgiving Dinner Giveaway initiative addressing food insecurity among local families. The recognition acknowledged the organization’s leadership, coordination of volunteers, and commitment to strengthening community support systems.
MAYOR’S COMMENDATION – CITY OF GLENDALE (2026)
The City of Glendale awarded Ella’s Angels Foundation a formal Mayor’s Commendation for the Valentine’s for Veterans initiative. On February 11, 2026, the organization led a coordinated partnership serving 81 veterans at Veterans Village, providing care packages, handwritten notes, and meaningful community connection.
The initiative was also covered by the Glendale News-Press, further recognizing the program’s impact within the broader community.
CERTIFICATE OF RECOGNITION- California Legislature Assembly (2026)
Assemblymember Nick Schultz of the California State Legislature presented Ella’s Angels Foundation with a Certificate of Recognition honoring the Valentine’s for Veterans initiative and its contribution to civic engagement and veteran support efforts.
