Ella’s Angels Foundation is proud to partner with student-led organizations at Yale University to extend our mission of kindness and service beyond California and into New Haven. From providing warm beanies through the Hunger and Homelessness Action Project (YHHAP) to exploring future collaborations with other Yale groups, these efforts reflect our belief that small acts of compassion can have a far-reaching impact. Together, we’re building bridges between communities while inspiring the next generation of leaders.
Hunger and Homelessness Action Project (YHHAP)
In September 2025, Ella’s Angels Foundation partnered with the Yale Hunger and Homelessness Action Project (YHHAP) to provide 100 brand-new beanies for residents of New Haven facing harsh East Coast winters. YHHAP is one of Yale’s largest student-led service organizations, dedicated to addressing food insecurity, housing instability, and homelessness through direct service and advocacy.
This collaboration marks the first step in expanding Ella’s Angels’ mission nationwide — bridging compassion from California to Connecticut. By supporting YHHAP’s critical work, we are helping to ensure that vulnerable communities in New Haven feel the warmth and care that every person deserves.
