At
Ella’s Angels, we believe in lifting up young people who lead with kindness, overcome challenges, and give back to their communities. That’s why we’re proud to launch the
Ella’s Angels Scholars Program — awarding
four $500 scholarships each year to graduating high school seniors in
Los Angeles County who are continuing their education at a college, university, or trade school. These scholarships honor students who embody the spirit of Ella’s Angels:
compassion, community service, and resilience.
Each selected student will receive
$500 to support tuition, books, school supplies, technology, or housing-related expenses. Eligible applicants must be
12th-grade students attending a public or charter school in Los Angeles County and accepted to a
2-year or 4-year college or
accredited trade school. Candidates are chosen based on kindness, community involvement, perseverance in the face of adversity, and financial need.
The
application process is simple and meaningful. Students will provide basic information, proof of college or trade school acceptance, and answer two short essay questions: one on the meaning of kindness and how they’ve practiced it, and another describing a challenge they’ve overcome and what they learned from it. Applicants must also include one letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, or community leader.
Timeline:
- Applications Open: February 1, 2026
- Deadline to Apply: April 1, 2026
- Winners Announced: May 1, 2026
By supporting these incredible students, Ella’s Angels is
investing in the future of Los Angeles — nurturing a generation of leaders who lead with empathy, courage, and heart. Whether they become nurses, artists, teachers, or engineers,
Ella’s Angels Scholars are chosen not for what they have, but for
who they are.
