At
Ella’s Angels, we believe kindness grows stronger when people come together. Our
Friendship Picnics are joyful gatherings that celebrate diversity, unity, and compassion — bringing families, neighbors, and friends from all walks of life to connect, share stories, and build lasting friendships. These events remind us that when people meet with open hearts, barriers fade and bridges are built.
Hosted in collaboration with the
City of Azusa, the
Azusa Chamber of Commerce,
Azusa Adult School, and community leaders like
Councilwoman Hilda Sells, the Friendship Picnic is a
free, family-friendly event filled with laughter, music, and connection. Guests enjoy cultural performances, local food, small business vendors, resource booths, and family fun like a petting zoo, water slide, and games — all designed to create a welcoming space where everyone feels valued and included.
The Friendship Picnic is more than a day of fun; it’s a celebration of community spirit. It brings together students, families, educators, and local leaders to share culture, kindness, and collaboration — showing that friendship can be the foundation for a stronger, more connected community.
This event’s success is made possible by incredible partnerships with city officials, schools, nonprofits, and small businesses who help us keep it open and free for all.
Would you like to get involved? You can
sponsor, volunteer, host a booth, or simply join us to celebrate unity and friendship. Together, we can continue spreading hope and joy — proving that when a community comes together, we all rise together. For event details or participation,
