Helping Paws: 600 Luxury Towels Donated to Humane Colorado

At Ella’s Angels, kindness comes in many forms — sometimes it’s a warm meal, sometimes it’s a scholarship, and sometimes it’s a soft towel for a rescue animal in need. This month, we were proud to donate 600 deluxe microfiber towels to the Humane Society of Colorado. Half were a bright, cheerful green and half a playful pink — each embroidered with the Doodle Heads (DH) logo as a reminder that they came with love.

Why Towels Matter in Animal Care

Shelters care for animals around the clock — from bath time to medical care, bedding to transport. Towels are one of the most-used supplies in any shelter, but often one of the least donated. By providing 300 green and 300 pink luxury microfiber towels, Ella’s Angels was able to give Humane Colorado the gift of comfort and practicality, ensuring rescued animals have soft, clean essentials to rely on every single day.

A Touch of Color and Care

Beyond their usefulness, these towels add a splash of warmth and personality to the shelter environment. The colors — green and pink — symbolize hope, joy, and care, while the DH logo represents the bond between people and pets that inspires all of our work. Something as simple as a towel can bring a moment of calm to a nervous puppy or help a kitten feel safe after a long journey.
